Hi, I’m Peter Annoff, the founder of Expat Essentials. My journey began with a passion for connecting people and creating meaningful change. Having lived for over 18 years as an expat in India myself, I know the joys—and challenges—that come with starting a new life in a different country. This inspired me to create a service that not only helps expats settle in but also empowers local communities.

How It All Began

In 2023, I noticed a gap in reliable, expat-friendly services in India. At the same time, I saw an opportunity to support skilled individuals from underprivileged backgrounds. With these two goals in mind, I launched Expat Essentials—a platform where expats could find trustworthy help while giving back to the local community.

Our Mission

Expat Essentials is more than just a business; it’s a bridge between cultures. Every driver, guide, or handyman we work with is either a former student from our education centers or someone known to us, committed to providing top-notch services. Every tour or service you book directly supports two educational centers in Delhi and Faridabad, helping young individuals unlock their potential.

Why It Matters

Starting Expat Essentials is rooted in a vision of mutual support. We aim to make expat life in India easier while creating opportunities for local individuals to showcase their skills and earn a livelihood. Though we’re just beginning, the potential for impact excites us—every service booked helps support educational initiatives and empowers people to grow professionally.

Our goal is to transition from relying solely on donations to having this business fully fund our NGO work, creating a sustainable model for long-term community impact.
