Our journey through Jaipur led us to a group of extraordinary performers and artisans from the city’s renowned “Puppet Colony,” a vibrant community where generations have dedicated themselves to preserving the art of puppetry, dance, and traditional craftsmanship. Many of these talented artists continue to carry forward their unique heritage and are performing in local five star hotels and at weddings and other events.

This community is home to puppet makers and players who bring age-old stories to life with their handcrafted puppets, skillfully made and painted using techniques passed down over centuries. But the artistic talents here go far beyond puppetry. Among them are cultural dancers who perform the famous Rajasthani dance while balancing flaming pots atop their heads, gifted musicians, skilled potters, captivating magicians, and even daring fire eaters who add an unforgettable element to any event.

We’re thrilled to offer you opportunities to engage with these artisans in meaningful ways. Attend one of our cultural events to experience their incredible performances, or invite them to your personal or corporate event for an unforgettable celebration. For those interested in learning these traditional arts firsthand, we can arrange hands-on workshops in pottery and puppet making.

The puppets stand approximately 40-50 cm tall and are sold as a couple. You can order them through us for Rs. 700 plus shipping costs,
